"It's a great way for families to spend an afternoon, and it's a chance for us to say 'thank you' to those who serve our community."
In addition to food and drinks, the event will feature a bounce house and face painting for the kids and music and entertainment for everyone. The Fairview Fire Department will also be on hand to give tours of the fire station and show off its equipment.
"We encourage everyone to come out and join us for a fun afternoon," said Baxter. "It's a great way to meet your local first responders and show your support for their hard work and dedication to our community."
The event is free to attend. All donations will go directly to the Friends of Fairview First Responders Association to support their mission of providing resources and support to local first responders.
